Accountancy Assessment Battery

Designed to test the competency of applicants with accounting experience. The battery not only tests for knowledge of debits and credits, but also evaluates understanding of the accounting cycle. All accounting candidates must demonstrate comprehension of month-end processing. Clerks for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and purchasing must show detail understanding of those function within the framework of the general ledger. Skills Tested: SEC reporting , knowledge of general ledger posting, voucher processing, generation of financial reports

Administered to whom: Accounting clerks, full charge bookkeeper and financial analyst.

Ability to perform basic accounting computations, read and interpret source documents as well as generate spreadsheets is evaluated. Data entry personnel must demonstrate a minimum 10,000 key strokes.
